OakLeaf Surgical Hospital Leadership Team

The Board of Directors of OakLeaf Surgical Hospital is pleased to introduce the new Chief Executive Officer, Michael J. McClain.

Mr. McClain comes to OakLeaf with a very strong clinical and administrative background.  Most recently he served as Administrator/ASC Director for  a large, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Michael previously served as Clinical Director for the Hospitalist Program at  Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

Mr. McClain holds a master’s degree in Health Science and Healthcare Administration, and a second master’s in Physicians Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Michael is a Certified Physician Assistant with several years of clinical practice in Inpatient Internal Medicine programs and the former President of the Michigan Academy  of Physician Assistants.

Michael and his wife, Judy, have two young children  and relocated to Eau Claire in June.
