Dr. Stephen Endres received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Endres is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pain Management and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Endres believes that every patient has the right to have their acute and /or chronic pain treated using the most cutting edge technology and up-to-date medicines.
The Pain Clinic of Northwestern Wisconsin addresses pain as a disease and not a symptom. Therefore, the practice is focused on reducing the pain and suffering of patients and increasing their ability to do activities of daily living with more ease. Dr. Endres is trained and experienced in all methods and modalities of interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic spinal procedures at all levels of the spine. This includes:
• Fluroscopically guided intra- and extra-spinal epidurals
• Facet injections
• Radio frequency lesioning nucleoplasty
• IDET (intradiscal electorthermal therapy)
• Spinal cord stimulator and pump placements
Dr. Endres has a special interest in spasticity and the use of intrathecal baclofen for the control of spasticity, particularly in people with spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis.
