Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Per Diem Status

The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids to provide aid in diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Medical Technology, clinical laboratory Science or Associate degree in Medical laboratory Technicians related science from an accredited program
  • Active Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist or equivalent
  • Current knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and laboratory Information Systems
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrates skills in verbal, written and electronic English communications

Housekeeper

Per Diem – Varied Shifts

The Housekeeper is responsible for turning over patient rooms, cleaning and disinfecting patient and non-patient care areas, removing refuse materials, and replacing expendable supplies.    

  • Previous experience cleaning in a healthcare facility is desired

Central Sterilization Technician

.8 Status and Per Diem Status

Qualifications:

  • .8 status – typically 3pm – 11:30pm
  • Per Diem – varied shifts
  • Certification of Central Sterilization required within 3 months of hire
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communications

Registered Nurse

Per Diem Status

  • A minimum two years of experience is preferred
  • Operating/Surgical room background required
  • Experience with caring for Pain, GI and Eye patient population
  • Experience in caring for patients in pre-operative and recovery room phases preferred

Radiologic Technologist

Per Diem Status
Varied Shifts, Two Positions Available

At the direction of a radiologist or other physician, competently performs all radiographic procedures, in general x-ray and surgery. Reviews/approves images and related information for quality, accuracy and completeness, and forwards to PACS for archive and image interpretation. Supports customer service and other quality initiatives as defined by hospital and department policy. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, medical and hospital staff. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification by the ARRT
  • Licensed with the state of Wisconsin
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work with and relate to diverse groups of individuals

Pharmacist

Per Diem Status

The Pharmacist at OakLeaf Surgical Hospital works with the medical Staff and patients to assist in prescribing and administering medication therapy.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Possess a current Pharmacist licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Demonstrated exceptional human relation and communication skills.
  • Ability to relate and work with a diverse group of individuals

Case Management/Utilization Review

Per Diem Status

The Case Management/Utilization review position is responsible for hospital case management/utilization review and discharge planning for patients.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as RN in the State of Wisconsin required
  • Experience working in a hospital environment is required
  • Experience with Utilization review/Case Management and Discharge Planning is necessary
  • CPR certification required
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrates skills in verbal, written and electronic English communications
  • Shifts may vary, and weekends possible, Saturdays to meet patient’s needs
