Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Program

Oak Leaf Surgical Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking qualified personnel to fill all positions for a new outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine program that is scheduled to open in October of 2010. Available positions include Program Director, Hyperbaric Safety Director, Clinic Coordinator, Wound Care Specialist, Wound Care RNs and/or LPNs, Administrative Assistant and Wound Care/Hyperbaric Technicians.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work with a diverse population of individuals and as part
    of a team.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, verbally and written.
  • Basic clinical knowledge of diabetes, wound care,
    and hyperbaric medicine.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Demonstrates skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities
    for own professional advancement.
  • Previous wound care and hyperbaric medicine experience is preferred.

Specialized Qualifications:

  • Many of the available positions require advanced degrees and/or specialized certifications.

Nurse Practitioner

OakLeaf Surgical Hospital has an employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing general and advanced nursing care and treatment of patients.  Predominantly night shift.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • A minimum of two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Able to work with a diverse population of individuals and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, verbally and written.
  • Must be able to achieve CPR, ACLS, and PALs certification within one year of employment.
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement.
  • Previous recovery room, ambulatory care, critical care, emergency or general nursing experience is preferred.
  • Is aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them.
  • Basic computer skills required.
