For the children

The OakLeaf Medical Network wishes for all children in the Chippewa Valley to be given the opportunity to grow physically and mentally. When the plans for the new Children’s Museum of Eau Claire were introduced, the members of OakLeaf stepped up with a generous contribution to support the special area within the museum known as the OakLeaf Toddler Park. Created specifically for children from infants to 3 year years of age, the colorful, whimsical “park”, complete with large tree, nurtures and stimulates young toddlers as they touch, squeeze, laugh, run, slide, “peek” and explore. Moms, dads, grandparents and friends are also welcome in the OakLeaf Toddler Park, where young bodies and unlimited imaginations run free.

Play is important for a child’s healthy development, so is information for parents on children’s and family health issues. A small rack in the OakLeaf Toddler Park area displays free informative brochures written by OakLeaf pediatricians and family health physicians.

The Children’s Museum of Eau Claire, with its OakLeaf Toddler Park, is an asset to the Chippewa Valley that OakLeaf Medical Network is proud to support.
